Fields Medal theft suspects spotted on CCTV

Two men in the images below are suspected to have stolen the Fields Medal belonging to Iranian mathematician Caucher Birkar. Birkar, who was awarded the prize known as the ‘Nobel of Mathematics’ yesterday, had his bag stolen during the ICM 2018 opening ceremony.
